Time to spice up our sides!  Having a delicious main dish is all fine and dandy, but those side dishes just make meals so much better.  Eating healthy doesn't mean everything has to be bland and flavorless.....spice up your veggies to step your meals up to the next level.  Today I chose green beans to go with our air "fried" chicken.  You can get the fried chicken recipe here...
http://toasttoroast.blogspot.com/2017/03/air-fried-chicken-thighs.html

As usual, the air fryer cooked the green beans wonderfully.  The garlic and rosemary are both strong flavors and I wasn't sure if one would overpower the other.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that both flavors come through in this side dish.  It tastes great and was a great pair with the chicken.

For those counting Smart Points....this side dish is 0 Smart Points.  Yes.....definitely need to keep this in my meal plan!

Ingredients
·      1 lb green beans -0SP
·      1.5 Tbsp minced garlic -0SP
·      1-2 tsp rosemary leaves -0SP
·      1-2 tsp Lawry’s seasoned salt -0SP
·      Spray Oil -0SP

Directions
·      Clean green beans
·      Place into preheated air fryer
·      Sprinkle garlic, rosemary, and seasoned salt on top
·      Spray oil 2-3 times using an oil sprayer and shake air fryer basket to distribute the seasonings

·      Air fry at 400 degrees for 7-8 minutes, pausing twice to shake the basket

                                                           Enjoy!

Update on January 7, 2018:  There are no changes in Smart Points based on the WW Freestyle program.
